When importing contacts from a SuperOffice CRM selection or project, you have the option to include or exclude contacts with lacking consent for e-marketing.
In SuperOffice CRM each contact has a “master switch” for e-marketing located under the interests-tab. We call this the “e-marketing consent switch”.
If the contact lacks any type of legal basis to send e-marketing emails, this switch is “off” (gray).
If the contact has legal basis which allows you to send e-marketing to this contact, the switch will be “on” (green).
When importing SuperOffice CRM contacts to eMarketeer you are given the option to skip or include “e-marketing off” contacts from the import.
If the checkbox is selected only contacts with “e-marketing ON” will be imported.
If it’s not selected, all contacts in the selection or project will be imported.
The imported contacts will be identified in eMarketeer using their primary email address and not the Person ID used by SuperOffice for identification. If the contact’s primary email address doesn’t already exist in eMarketeer then a new contact card ill be created using this email address as the identifier.
