To assist your web analytics with the eMarketeer Web Tracker as well as other systems such as Google Analytics, eMarketeer automatically adds utm-parameters to links in you emails and landing pages.
These are the utm-parameters that are added to your links when created in eMarketeer emails and landing pages.
- utm_source – The source will always be “eMarketeer” to indicate which platform the visit comes from
- utm_campaign – This is the name of the eMarketeer campaign where your email/landing page is located.
- utm_medium
- for emails this will be “email”
- for landing pages this will be “referral”
- utm_content
- for emails: the subject line of the email
- for landing pages: the title of the page
- utm_em_source – this is specific for eMarketeer, the ID of the component used
