eMarketeer Sender Policy

When pushing communication to recipients using eMarketeer components such as e-mail or SMS you are obliged by follow the following rules.

  • In order to send e-mails or SMS to recipients using eMarketeer you must have the recipients consent (Opt in) in advance to do so. The Opt in is only valid per channel of communication. This means e-mail and SMS need to be opted in separately by the recipient or you (the sender) have a business relationship with the recipient.
  • Senders within EU must follow the Directive on Privacy and Electronic Communications
  • Senders residing in the US agree to follow the Can Spam Act
  • Any non-transactional e-mail’s must have the option to unsubscribe.
  • The recipients have actively given their consent to receiving advertisement emails, they were aware of what they were consenting to and no pre-clicked/pre-checked fields were used for the consent.
  • Each e-mail sent has information of who you (the sender) are and how you can be contacted.
  • You may not send unsolicited e-mails or messages (SPAM).
  • You may not send or publish illegal or immoral content or in any way participate in fraudulent activities.
